Sophia Antipolis (Nice), France, October 28-29, 2021

Principal investigators of IMSE's group (Drs. Ricardo Carmona and Jorge Fernández) were invited as academic speakers to present recent research results in Huawei Workshop on Future Technologies for ISP 2021. Dr. Carmona's talk was entitled "Performance evaluation of feature descriptors in the presence of FPN and other noise sources in CMOS imagers"; Dr. Fernández's talk was entitled "Pixel Circuitry for HDR and Tone Mapping vs. Digital Tone-Mapping Operators".

Principal investigators of IMSE's group (Drs. Ricardo Carmona and Jorge Fernández) presented latest research results in MENELAOS ITN Midterm Summer School. In particular, Dr. Ricardo Carmona's presentation title was "Concurrent sensing/processing for 2D/3D images in CMOS technology" whereas Dr. Jorge Fernández's presentation title was "Visual and Acoustic Inference on Low-Cost IoT Systems".

ENVISAGE researchers have held periodic online meetings throughout the project, many of them during the confinement mandate enforced by authorities because of COVID-19 pandemics situation

Geneva, Switzerland - February 25, 2020

Dr. Ricardo Carmona, IP1 of IMSE-CNM's sub-project, presented the most significant results of Seville's group at CERN in an invited talk entitled "In-Sensor Processing for High-Speed Low-Power 2D/3D Imaging". This talk took place in the context of a collaboration through which a IMSE's PhD student, Mr. Franco Bandi, has enjoyed a 3-month stay at CERN.

Madrid, Spain - December 17, 2019

Researchers from the different partners involved in ENVISAGE met at CSIC's premises in Madrid to share their latest advances and discuss on the next tasks to be addressed. This was the first follow-up meeting of the project.

Trento, Italy - September 9-11, 2019

Researchers from IMSE-CNM showcased their latest results in the 13th edition of the International Conference on Distributed Smart Cameras (ICDSC), held in Trento, Italy. This edition was organized by the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, University of Trento, and it was co-located with the 20th edition of ICIAP (International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing)."

Rennes, France - July 1-2, 2019

Researchers from IMSE-CNM and CiTIUS-USC presented their latest results in the 8th edition of the Workshop on Architectures of Smart Cameras (WASC), organised by Profs. Maxime Pelcat, Muriel Pressigout, and Karol Desnos at INSA-Rennes (France). The main purpose of this international workshop is to provide a collaborative and informal environment for exchanging experiences and presenting latest advances and work in progress.
